wow, very nice shiprock. we live just to the north of cortez colorado and can actually see this from here-- smog from the giant powerplants down there permitting. it really is a marvelous landmark and you've captured it in rich lighting.

Thanks Chris. Spent an entire afternoon until sunset walking around here with a photographer friend. This was my favorite shot, a little before sunset. This butte has such "presence".
